I made a workbook for kids with 80 pages. It includes all basic sentences patterns, some math concepts and many useful terms in our everyday life. We are using this workbook for reviewing ( listening, writing, reading and speaking ) everyday. I hope they can keep this book for reviewing at summer, if they have too much free time. It must be helpful for preparing to be in 2nd grade Chinese class.
If they can have two, three and four friends reading together, it would be fun and much easier for them.
